SRT: Small Unit Tactics (2-day)

2 day course

Location: Sierra 1 Site (Heber, AZ)

Camping onsite allowed and dinner provided. 

This course is designed to increase competency and safety with law enforcement officers standard issue weapon systems.  Teams will be first evaluated on the flat range for weapons competency and then be moved to different areas of the training facility to include CQB and team patroling.  By the end of this 2 day course, teams will have been able to improve their own standard operating procedures and internal leadership skills. If units have NVG capabilities, please bring it up to our attention after registering so we can incorporate that into the training.   

Instruction and curriculum provided by U.S. Army Green Berets and/or SWAT sniper personnel.

Carbine and pistol maintanance

Basic marksmanship fundamentals

Team movement techniques

Counter ambush lanes

Vehicle response drills

Small unit competency and communication lanes

Leadership engagment lanes

Scenario based response drills

Target identification and response

Small unit movement and terrain navigation
